Puppies & Juniors
Every dog learns at his or her own pace, so part of the training process is about getting to know how your dog learns, and what does and doesn't come easily. We'll cover basic house, obedience and safety training, along with heel, recall, lead work, steadiness and other essentials - all with easy-to-follow steps that will be fun as well as delivering great results.

Field (Gundog) Training
You don’t need to participate in or even approve of the shooting world to field-train your spaniel. Gundog training gives you and your dog a fantastic mental and physical workout, and instils focus, confidence and discipline that transfers from the field into ‘everyday life’. We'll work on tough recall situations, hunting, retrieving, steadiness, and much more. Sessions are always one-on-one - ideally with you there too, to watch and work with us.

Specialist walking
& rehab care
Although regular dog-walking is not my field (I can recommend some brilliant colleagues who are professional walkers), I do offer ad-hoc spaniel walking for individuals, or two-at-the-time at most. For post-operative or chronic conditions, such as arthritis, I can provide dedicated walking and gentle exercise that follows to your vet's instructions - freeing up your time whilst giving you peace of mind.

Joint exercise (1 hour, with max. 1-2 other spaniels): £24 per walk

Rehab exercise: £10 per 15 minutes; I will drive to your home if it lies within a 6-mile radius of GU9. Otherwise a drop-off is required.
Nutrition
“You get out what you put in” is true for all dogs – arguably more so for spaniels. Identifying the right food isn't always easy: for instance, puppy, juniors and senior diets are quite different. Then there is weight management, joint maintenance, pregnancy, post-op, intolerances and allergies. I can work with you to formulate the best nutrition plan for your spaniel: cost-effective, nutrient-packed, and (of course) very tasty.
