Just spaniels?
Approach & handling
Food...
(glorious food)
Yes, we really do just cater for spaniels. Cockers, Springers, Sprockers, Clumbers, Brittanies and Field Spaniels. Just - spaniels. It's the breed I know best, and love most. As humans, we have to work hard to maintain their curiosity and adventuring spirit. In return, they give us unswerving devotion and a purpose in life. I understand how hard it can be to give your spaniel exactly what you know he or she deserves. Life gets in the way. And that is the entire reason we founded Phoebe & Friends: to give your best friend the best care possible: when you need it, and for as little or often as you want.

I take a very calm, loving yet firm approach to training and walking. Hands should be used kindly, and eye-to-eye contact is very important for me. I would never over-walk or over-train a spaniel, whatever their age. Yes, they are a 'working breed', but they have become domesticated over the generations. I know too well the impacts of over-exercising. We owe them the same love and compassion as we would give to our own children.
My training is normally conducted one-on-one (you & your spaniel, with just me or possibly with the addition of Phoebe, Jester or Cassie - for demonstration purposes only). Walking is normally conducted with just your spaniel, or with one other to ensure attention and complete safety. We always fit 'new dogs' with a safety tracker, for complete peace of mind - until we are completely confident. And I'll always make sure your spaniel gets warm and dry quickly after their walk, with fresh water to drink and a healthy snack (with your consent).
Speaking of food, this is a really big passion of mine. Feeding your spaniel correctly is one of the greatest gifts you can give them. I can guide you and your best buddy to a great diet that meets their nutritional requirements, and that also fits with your budget and your lifestyle.

Whether you're after regular or one-off walking, a good training program, puppy work or our specialist rehabilitation services, you can feel confident that your spaniel will be in the best, most loving hands.
We'd love to hear from you, and find out more about your beautiful spaniel-friend! Give me a call or text, or drop me an email. If it's easier, just fill out the simple form opposite.
